Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Sokoto As Tires Explode Just After Take-Off

Tragedy was averted this morning after a Saudi-bound flight of Kabo Air made an emergency landing at the Sir Abubakar airport  because its tires exploded just after take off.
The Boeing 747 jumbo jet left Kano on Friday en route to Saudi Arabia but had to divert to Sokoto when the incident happened.
All the passengers aboard the airline had been successfully evacuated from the plane and lodged in a hotel in the state.
This is coming barely 72 hours after an Embraer aircraft belonging to Associated Airlines with registration number 5N-BIT crashed in Lagos shortly after take-off from the Murtala Muhammed Airport.
